Tahmoor Drift Belt Change Structure

This project presented some significant challenges given the very old infrastructure, very tight space allowed to fit the required equipment.  The installation of the structure had to occur with minimal disruptions to production. There is a significant amount of structure that will remain inplace until the next belt change is required (8-10 years) future proofing the mines longevity.

Designed and detailed by Cove engineers in collaboration with Tahmoor Coal, Contitech and Inglis Engineering.

Fabricated and installed by All Construction Engineering (ACE) under supervision and guidance of Cove engineers.
