De-Watering Transfers

The de-watering concept is basically as it sounds in that any excess water carried within the product stream is removed from the product during the transfer process from one conveyor to another.

The de-watering effect is essentially achieved by separating the product being conveyed from the water by modelling the differing trajectories of the two elements and using this information to position the de-watering and impact elements within the transfer chute.

Our dewatering transfer chutes are designed to balance soft loading product flow, receiving belt wear and liner plate wear with optimal water removal. Over the years we have supplied numerous dewatering transfer chutes and our engineers continually strive to improve the concept in an effort to satisfy the needs of our underground mining clients.
